Danta Corcovado Lodge is a port of entry to Corcovado National Park and this lodge is owned by a very enterprising Costa Rican family. For its construction, this resort is concern for the sustainability and used local materials, with original wood carvings and beautifully maintained wooden floors in all the cabins as well as the main lodge and dining area. Though Danta Corcovado is rustic, this place is quite open which allow its guests to enjoy wildlife, the harmony of the nature as well as offers great hospitality, comfortable accommodation and delicious food.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Accommodation:<\/span><\/h3>\n

\"Standard-room\"<\/a>Danta Corcovado Lodge offers different types of accommodation facilities including bunk-bed rooms with shared bath to spacious forest cabins and also a wheelchair-accessible master suite with a\u00a0\u00a0spacious, semi-alfresco bathroom. Accommodations in this resort suite all budgets. \u00a0Standard rooms are simple but include twisted branch windows,\u00a0comfortable Sur\u00e1 beds with\u00a0unique towering headboards\u00a0and include colourful bedding and towels. It also include tree “cookie” mirrors and bedside tables. Its bungalows are ideal for the people who are seeking more privacy. These bungalows are nestled further in the forest, about 200 meters from the main lodge. If you stay in bungalows, you will enjoy waking up in the morning with the sound of the squirrel monkeys passing overhead and going to sleep with\u00a0the chattering of kinkajou,\u00a0the sounds of pings and clicks of frogs or\u00a0the long whistles of the Potoo bird on the prowl. Made of Melina and bamboo, these bungalows will take you close to the nature and wildlife. It includes\u00a0private enclosed garden bathroom and the toilets are decorated with\u00a0\u00a0extraordinary woodwork. Ideal for the families and students of a group\u00a0Danta Corcovado Lodge House has two separate rooms including a double bed and the other one include a bunk bed and a single bed. There is a corridor, living room and private bathroom with hot water. These rooms are near to the main building.\u00a0The whole ambiance of Danta is inviting and relaxing<\/span><\/p>\n

Bar and Restaurant:\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Danta Corcovado Lodge has a multi-leveled open air Ranchito with a twisted branch encased bridge, upside down tree column, dining room overlooks towering rainforest. Here you will enjoy delicious food, free coffee and tea. All meals served here are authentic Costa Rican dishes with variety of tastes, with vegetarian options. All the meals are tastefully prepared by locals. \u00a0If you have any special requirements or have allergies you should inform earlier. In this restaurant you can enjoy candlelight dinners.<\/span><\/p>\n

Activities:<\/span><\/h3>\n

There is excellent wildlife viewing genuinely on the doorstep and plenty of other activities available nearby. You can enjoy bird watching, kayaking in the mangroves, night walk, rainy season special tour, swimming at an isolated beach, zip lining, go for a private trails, \u00a0that cross a palm plantation, a secondary forest, a primary forest, and regenerating forested areas. You can easily enjoy Golfo Dulce and the forest. You can also enjoy\u00a0\u00a0night tours on a loop around the lake and enjoy exploring wildlife.<\/span><\/p>\n
