This lodge is also supports an\u00a0environmental educational program of “Grupo los Toucanies” for the Schools of Portalon and Matapalo with the sponsor of a Portuguese company “Papelaria Americana”. This company gives donation for supporting the education of all kids so that it increases the awareness of the preservation of the rainforest, the wildlife and the ecosystem of the Portalon area and Costa Rica. This lodge also motivates its guests to\u00a0visit the schools and help them with donations for the program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are six bungalows that are non-smoking zone featured with very comfortable beds, ceiling fans, private terrace with bamboo table and chairs, private bathrooms with hot showers, cool tiled floors, large furnished living room, kitchen with refrigerator and screened windows that allows gentle breezes enter in the kitchen. With the melodic sounds from the jungle you will enjoy fall asleep.<\/span><\/p>\n

Garden Rooms<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the lodge there are 7 garden view rooms that are also non smoking zone and featured with comfortable beds, private bathrooms with hot showers, cool tiled floors, ceiling fans and windows facing gardens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pura Vida-Bar\/Restaurant:<\/span><\/h3>\n

With breathtaking views and\u00a0nature’s sounds you will enjoy delicious meals in the lodge restaurant. In this restaurant you will get\u00a0international and local specialties which are prepared with the ingredients collected from\u00a0organic vegetable gardens and local farms.\u00a0For the breakfast you will have to go to the restaurant from 7 to 8:30 a.m. and you can enjoy a variety of fresh local fruits, coffee, teas, and juice. You can also enjoy\u00a0a typical Costa Rican breakfast of “Pinto” or choose eggs and toast. This restaurant bakes its own bread, jams, variety of cakes and fresh cheese, so you have a \u00a0plenty to chose for your breakfast. \u00a0During lunch you will enjoy a variety of sandwiches, salads and hamburgers. In Dinner time when every guests get together for sharing their day experience, they can also enjoy delicious meals offered by the restaurant. For dinner it offers\u00a0\u00a0starter, main dish, salad and a delicious dessert. There are also vegetarian dishes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
