Set near the edge of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, La Colina Lodge is a pleasant, low-key hotel. You will find this lodge quiet and tranquil as its location is slightly removed from Santa Elena. You will feel homely like environment here and within walking distance there are some restaurants, cafes and art galleries. Monteverde is considered as one of the eco-tourism hotspots of Costa Rica and this place allow the guests to enjoy many types of adventure activities including zip lining, butterfly farms, aerial trams, a cheese factory and more. You can also enjoy bird watching while enjoying Hiking through the lush forests.<\/p>\n

Facilities:<\/h3>\n

La Colina Lodge offers\u00a02 types of rooms to choose from, and some rooms are with private bath and some are with shared bath. All the bathrooms in this property have hot water facility. All the rooms are simple but comfortable and clean and include single beds, double beds and bunk beds and are capable of\u00a0sleeping 2\u20134 people.\u00a0The brightly colored walls and wooden floors will give you a pleasant feel. In some of the rooms you will find balcony. You will also enjoy free WiFi connection and use of the common area on the lower level of the lodge where you will find a lounge area with cable tv and a large area for eating, hanging out etc. Breakfast is included with all room rentals except for the bunks and throughout the day you can enjoy organic coffee. In the hotel’s cafe you will find\u00a0Latin fusion cuisine and some of the tastiest soups in the area. Vegetable dishes are prepared with fresh and local vegetables and you will also find yummy\u00a0bread, yogurt and coffee. During lunch you can enjoy\u00a0a selection of gourmet sandwiches, salads, soups and appetizers, including locally made cheese and hummus. \u00a0At La Colina, Friday is very special as on these nights, Thai food is served alongside live music. At this lodge in Tuesday you will enjoy movie night accompanied by a delicious dinner.<\/p>\n

Other facility:<\/h3>\n

In this lodge you will find a spacious yoga studio that overlooks the surrounding forest and this space is open to yoga teachers and others wishing to lead retreats. Here you can enjoy yoga class that range from\u00a0power yoga to candlelight sessions in the evening. This lodge is also\u00a0offers strength training classes several days a week.<\/p>\n
