Located in\u00a0Bijagua Upala,\u00a0on the slopes of Miravalles Volcano National Park at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, Cataratas Bijagua Lodge<\/a> is a family\u00a0running nature preserving lodge. This place is ideal for those people who are seeking something rustic as well as charming. This resort was developed for enhancing the awareness of ecological life system. This resort produces electricity through a Hydroelectric “Pelton” Plant. While staying here you will get opportunity to see beautiful waterfalls, can walk the hanging bridges, go for horse back riding, go down a 250 meter water slide, hike into a live crater and take a volcanic mud bath. Started in 2004 by a group of family, this lodge was developed to create sustainable project in hand with nature. All of its accommodation constructed with ecofriendly materials and have family like environment. <\/p>\n

There are five rustic bungalows surrounded by gardens and volcanos. Featured with a unique living space, complete with a patio this bungalows allows the guests to enjoy beautiful views. There are also small seating areas, fan and bathroom with free toiletries.<\/p>\n

Nene Cabin<\/strong><\/p>\n

Located on the second floor, Nene cabin has a corridor around the bedroom and offers an amazing view of the two volcanoes that surround the village.<\/p>\n

There are beautiful river and wildlife to explore. If you are a adventure lover, you can enjoy hiking on the beautiful trail and swimming in the blue water. The forests, grasslands and marshes are home to various endangered species such as jaguars, cougars, tapirs ocelots, peccary and several species of monkey and also many other different species of wildlife.<\/p>\n

Tour Nocturno<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You can go for exciting, adventurous night tours that starts a little before sunset at 5:30 pm. This tour will allow you to observe see\u00a0reptiles, insects, mammals and nocturnal birds.<\/p>\n

You can also enjoy Hanging Bridge Tour. Throughout this tour you will get opportunity to enjoy spectacular bird life, hydro-electricity and a nice river to look at.<\/p>\n
