Finca Luna Nueva Lodge is a sustainable\u00a0rainforest eco-lodge hotel that is perfect for the nature lovers. It’s rich diversity makes the place very special. Its mission is to provide\u00a0a hosting service, cuisine and quality educational tours. It is working hard to increase the awareness of sustainable living and environmental preservation. This lodge offers\u00a0wonderful experience of primary rainforest\u00a0together with a certified organic\u00a0biodynamic\u00a0farm.<\/p>\n

While staying at this lodge, you can enjoy relaxation in its rustic yet luxurious accommodations. There is swimming pool area, solar heated Jacuzzi and the lodge also offers laundry service and transportation. If you go for a hike you will be bale to explore the wildlife of this area. The surrounding area is home to a hundreds of species of birds and butterflies, monkeys, sloths and many other animals.<\/p>\n

Way to the lodge:<\/h3>\n

\"Finca-Luna-Nueva<\/a>For reaching the lodge you can chose either bus route or can drive car. If you use bus route, you have to travel to Ciudad Quesada. Then here you will have to change the bus and take one that will lead you to La Fortuna via Chachagua. Then get down in San Isidro de Penas Blancas.<\/p>\n

If you prefer driving, from San Jose you will have to go north to San Ramon via the Pan American Highway.\u00a0Upon the exit of the highway turn right and then drive straight until you reach the last stop from here turn left. And then turn right immediately at traffic light and keep driving on the left side for about 2 kilometers.\u00a0While driving on the hill, you will go over a speed bump, at the right side you will find you will find a small school,\u00a0go over another speed bump and take a left turn at the Y intersection. There you will find the road to La Fortuna. Then drive north on this road for an hour, after arriving at a single lane suspension bridge over the Penas Blancas river. On your left side you will find the Church cemetery-two kilometres after the bridge. After passing 150 meters from the cemetery turn left and you will find a rock road then drive another 2.3 kilometres west into the jungle whilst being on the right until you see the intersections. When you will find a large tin building, from there go 100 metres and turn to the right side, there you will find the driveway of Finca Nueva Lodge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finca Nueva Lodge offers many types of adventure retreat including hiking, rainforest night tour, canopy zip, bird watching, mountain bike, horseback riding, Kayak on lake Arenal, Venado Cave tour, Sport Fishing, Safari float, Rafting, Stand up paddle lessons and many more.<\/p>\n

Restaurant:<\/h3>\n
Finca Luna \u00a0Nueva Lodge restaurant has a family style open air dining area where you can enjoy your food among the toucans and butterflies and enjoy the beauty of the rainforest. This restaurant offers lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. At this restaurant you will get healthy and delicious food so you don’t need to go outside of the lodge for taking food. All the meals are prepared from the organic products collected from its certified biodynamic farm and the meat is from its pasture raised animals. If you stay at this resort for a longer period of time, you will get the opportunity to enjoy different types of dishes as its menu varies depending on its weekly harvest. It also offers fresh squeezed juice, ginger ale, home made sasparrilla root beer, hot tea, cold tea, smoothies, hot chocolate milk. But if you want to enjoy alcoholic beverages, you can bring them when you visit.<\/div>\n
