The Owners of Finca Tierra

Husband and wife Ian Macaulay and Ana Gaspar Aguerri operate Finca Tierra Organic Permaculture Farm and Eco-Lodge. Both of them have deep love for sustainable living and ecological lifestyle and also for the permaculture principles. They developed a perfect combination of food forest, organic gardens and natural buildings and named it Finca Tierra.

Farm Stay Housing Options

For accommodation facilities Finca Tierra have two options-outfitted campsites and bamboo cabins. People who love to enjoy stay close to the nature, outdoors and the starlit skies, they will find Outfitted Campsites that are completely covered by a large tent with screened ventilation and featured with a cozy queen size bed, lounge chairs, a solar lantern, private bathrooms and showers with bio-thermal hot water supply. Bamboo Cabins have a raised foundation on stilts accessed by a ladder includes all the facilities as the camps. There are also WiFi internet access in communal areas and daily maid service. In the Outfitted Campsites you will find  a covered outdoor living area, a large tent with screened ventilation, a comfortable queen size bed, lounge chairs and a solar lantern. Bamboo cabins are featured with mosquito net, comfortable queen size bed and solar lantern. In each of the cabin you will find private modern bathroom with shower and those bathrooms are constructed with bamboo and concrete and include bio-thermal hot water. In communal areas you can enjoy WiFi connection.

Dining

While staying at Finca Tierra, you will enjoy three meals a day and those delicious meals are prepared by the experienced cooking staff of the farm kitchen. All the dishes are made from the product that are fresh and organic harvested from the food forest. The chef follow the traditional recipes and also traditional and farmhouse style, and the Afro Caribbean culture.You will enjoy a variety of delicious and healthy dishes.
