Kaya’s Place

Kaya’s Place is a rustic lodge and a charming bed and breakfast inn that is located in Puerto Viejo, a town along the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. Kaya’s Place provide 26 options for accommodations and all of the rooms are varied and unique in there facilities and decoration. You will find both shared and private rooms that offers either ocean or garden view and has high ceilings and gorgeous hand-carved furniture. There are also separate house, deluxe suites and a large mansion that is surrounded by jungle. You can choose any of the accommodation facility suites to your needs.

The Jungle Mansion

If you want to enjoy luxurious facilities, privacy as well as to stay close to the nature The Jungle Mansion is perfect for you. While staying here you will enjoy the ocean breeze and and watching the vistas of verdurous greenery.Nestled against the luscious rain forest, this residence offers two living rooms, three bedrooms, two living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen with an outdoor cooking area, three bathrooms out of which two have Jacuzzi tubs, and also include porches from where you can enjoy the garden views and nature trails between blossoming flower gardens. If you want to stay in this lodge for long time or visit with your partner or families, you will find the Jungle Mansion perfect.

Garden View Rooms

These rooms have access to a private bathroom and include a nice private porch from where you can enjoy watching the beautiful garden view.

Ocean View Rooms

Furnished with bunk beds and these rooms overlooks amazing ocean view. These rooms also have a private bathrooms and a shared balcony.

Deluxe Suites

On the downstairs of the suite you will find a  private porch with hammocks and chairs where you can spend relaxed time and on the upper floor there are private terraces from where you can enjoy the Talamanca Mountains view and Caribbean sea view. These suites are featured with air conditioner, ceiling fans, a fully equipped kitchen, a large living area, a double bed, wet bar, refrigerator and a private bathroom.

The Guava House

Set at the back of the lodge, this private house is ideal for the people who have pets and want to enjoy privacy. Here you will find air-conditioned master bedroom, a second bedroom with ceiling fans, a large kitchen, a terrace including hammock for enjoying relaxed time and also has a back yard where you can play with your pets.

Shared Rooms and Private Rooms:

If you have a limited budget, shared rooms will be perfect for you. In Kaya’s Place, there are six rooms on the second floor that are featured with two bathrooms and two cold water showers and also has a common terrace from where you can enjoy the ocean view. These shared rooms are also ideal for the backpackers. Backpackers can also chose the private rooms to enjoy the facility to access the private bathroom. These private rooms are affordable, cozy and pleasant and include ceiling fans, hot water showers, bunk beds and offers beach view.

Activities:

As this place is close to black sand beach, Playa Negra, you can enjoy some adventurous beach activities like diving, rafting and fishing. You can also go for a canopy tour to the jungle and explore the beauty of the region as well as different species of wild animals.
