The accommodation comprises of eight unpretentious yet comfortable and spacious thatched roofed bungalows. Every bungalow comes with a couple of double beds, a personal deck and private bathroom featuring a shower and bathtub. For couples, there is a lovely honeymoon suites equipped with a plush king size bed. The rooms are classified into – Hacienda-Styled Rooms, Colonial Style Hacienda Rooms and covered Nature Lover Platform Tents. These accommodation options are thoughtfully equipped with large windows and white-caned walls to foster abundant air circulation and a spacious, back-to-the-earth feel throughout the place. Luna’s strategic location up the Carate River ensures that the air is always cool and a light breeze is omnipresent throughout the pleasant environment.

Beautiful Surroundings and Eco Tours

More than 75 acres of Luna Lodge’s property is housed in a primary virgin rain forest where guests can savor the experience of spotting innumerable exotic tropical rain forest creatures. The property also features striking year-round waterfalls, a speedily flowing chute and a pleasant wading pool at a few minutes’ walk from the bungalows. A walk further down the valley unravels a breathtaking white boulder riverbed and a set of 30-feet falls which have conspired to align guests with nature. This off the beaten path retreat is a hotbed for several nature based activities including wildlife and Eco tours around the Osa Peninsula. All guided tours are conducted by knowledgeable in-house guides who have made it their mission to interpret the diversity of their natural wonders for the guests.

Tucked away further up the bungalows is a strategically created 1600 square feet, roofed open air facility that is built on an elevated platform – The Retreat Center. It accommodates large groups of patrons looking to explore therapeutic activities such Yoga, aromatherapy and Tai Chi. The setting is also perfect for meditation, general relaxation, visualization exercises, business workshops and creative writing.
