Pachira offers its guests a variety of experiences in the form of optional tours and relaxing in-house amenities. Guests can enjoy everything from a Chocolate Deluxe Body Treatment ($ 95 USD for a single 1 hour: 20 minute session) to swimming in a gigantic sea turtle-shaped swimming pool (with a whirlpool tub and wading pool). One of the most popular activities around the region are the turtle nestling tours (Tortuguero is known to be the most significant region in the Caribbean for experiencing the almost surreal Green Turtle nestling phenomenon). Pachira’s other widely conducted optional activities include fishing, canoeing and kayaking tours.

Accommodation at the Pachira Lodge is available in the form comfortable (with rustic touches) wood cabinas that each have four guest rooms with lofty ceilings, plush king-sized beds and quaint bamboo furniture to accentuate the back-to-nature feel. Each cabina opens up to a private and well-maintained garden. All 88 guest rooms are spacious, airy, clean, and combine functional sustainability with well-appointed elegance. They are also strategically located to offer sweeping views of the lush surroundings.

Rates

Price for the one day tour is $ 99 USD for a single, double and triple occupancy arrangement. The one night/ two days stay is priced at $249 USD, $ 209 USD and $ 189 USD for single, double and triple occupancy respectively. Similarly, the two nights/ three days package is priced at $ 329 USD, $ 289 USD and $ 219 USD for single, double and triple occupancy. Pachira also offers a combined 4 nights/ 5 days package that allows guests to explore both – Tortuguero and Sarapiqui in association with the Selva Verde Lodge. The package includes lodging, meals, activities and transportation within two of Costa Rica’s most sought after destinations, and is priced at $ 697 USD and $ 597 USD per person for single and double occupancy respectively.
