Northern Lowlands eco lodges

The northern lowlands stretch across Sarapiquí and the plains toward Nicaragua: rivers, wetlands and lowland rainforest around La Selva Biological Station and Boca Tapada, where the endangered great green macaw still nests. It’s a quieter corner of Costa Rica, popular with birdwatchers and river rafters.
