Activities and Amenities

Guests can enjoy a plethora of naturalist tours and pulsating adventure activities within the lodge’s own refuge as well as in the surroundings areas. Some popular tours that can be taken in Arenal’s own refuge include a bird watching tour, a night walk in the forest (starts just before dusk and allows visitors to get up, close and personal with a wide variety of reptiles, amphibians, nocturnal animals and insects. The highlight of the exciting and unique tour is the Frog Song session, where guests can gain insights into the history of some of the most fascinating nocturnal frog species ), an enriching natural history walk (includes visit to a beautiful butterfly garden and a walk along several trails featuring different stations of insects, frogs, snakes and lizards).

Tours organized within the area are a Volcano Hiking Tour (where visitors can get to witness the majestic Arenal Volcano), a Safari Float on a Canoe, Kayak or Raft (on the serene and picturesque waters of rivers Arenal and Penas Blancas), a trip to the Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge (features a staggering variety of local and migratory birds), an exhilarating Arenal Hanging Bridges tour (get a spectacular aerial view from 15 hanging bridges), a tour of Venado Caves and a hike to Cerro Chato. Accommodations and Rates

Accommodations at Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge are available in the form of five cabanas or rustic looking wooden cabins, out of which four are bungalows and one is a villa style cabana. The bungalow style cabanas are each equipped with a private bath, hot water, bathtub, hair dryer and a ceiling fan. Villa style Cabana rooms come with a private bath, hot water, hair dryer, a ceiling fan, a refrigerator and a microwave. Additional services that can be made available to guests are laundry, transport, tourist information and relaxing massages.

The high season rate for a double occupancy arrangement in the bungalow style cabana is $ 75 USD, while the high season rate for quadruple occupancy in the villa style cabana (with a garden view) is $ 105 USD.
