El Sabanero Eco- Lodge

El Sabareno’s strategic location makes it the perfect starting point for a large variety of activities from surfing at the nearby Tamarindo Beach to enjoying thrilling sports fishing to embarking on an exhilarating scuba diving ‘mission’. The less intrepid can participate in a range of land excursions such as guided nature walks through the Diria wildlife refuge and the Marino Las Baulas National Park (the resting place for leatherback turtles). Other tours organized by the lodge include zip lining, snorkeling, rafting tours, turtle nestling tours (from November to January), horseback riding and spectacular sunset cruise trips.

Accommodations

Accommodations at the El Sabanero eco lodge are available in the form of chic and elegant chalets, which are made out of locally grown teak trees. The unique yet stylish lodges are created with a signature Costa Rican architectural technique. Each unit is surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens, lending it an air of privacy and tranquility.

Each chalet features a queen size bed (adorned with strikingly embroidered sheets), an independent bathroom, air conditioning and an expansive deck (complete with cowboy type rocking chairs). In addition to this, the rooms are comfortably equipped with all basic amenities and some are even designed for providing access to the physically disabled.

Rates

The rates for a single, double and triple occupancy arrangement during the peak season here will put guests back by $ 110 USD, $ 120 USD and $ 135 USD respectively. Similarly, green season rates range from $ 65 USD, $ 70 USD and $ 85 USD for single, double and triple occupancy respectively. Prices include s full breakfast and exclude local taxes.
