Evergreen Lodge

Surrounded by towering trees and exuberant vegetation, Evergreen lodge is located in the northeastern corner of Tortuguero. From the main entrance to Tortuguero National Park, it takes only 5 minutes by boat to reach the lodge. And this lodge is accessed only by air and water. This is the place ideal for exploring the beauty of the magical area as it is nestled so close to the nature. You can spend a relaxing time and the beautiful nature in the Tortuguero National Park and enjoy all the facilities and comfort in the lodge. 

Sustainability:

Evergreen Lodge is working hard to obtain sustainable certifications by implementing different measures and programs such as recycling programs, water saving and training programs in topics such importance of sustainable living.

Facilities:

Earlier Evergreen Lodge was not same as it is now. At the beginning it has only a few rooms. Day by day it added cabins and access ramps including all the facilities for enjoyment and comfort. The restaurant also renovated for increasing its size so that more people can enjoy their food together. While staying at this lodge, you will get opportunity to enjoy many types of tours and trail as well as a wide range of activities such as canopy tour, caribbean fishing tour, morning tour, sea turtle nesting tour, kayaking tour and many more. Evergreen Lodge also offers two type of rooms-beautiful bungalows and comfortable cabins with the full board service which will let you get relaxed and enjoy the beauty of the Tortuguero. After day log activity when you will be tired you can enjoy massage therapies at the lodge spa.

Evergreen Lodge also offers transportation facility. If you stay at any hotel in San Jose, you will be picked up by the Evergreen Lodge’s crew. As there is no road from San Jose, you will have to use the boat service reserved to cover the distance.
