Hotel San Bada

Located within Costa Rica’s Pacific Region in the Manuel Antonio area, Hotel San Bada is a luxurious resort that is perfect for those people who want to explore primary forests on horseback or foot and enjoy visiting four wonderful waterfalls of the area. From the international airport Juan Santa Maria and the capital of the country San Jose, it is 174km and 12km from the local airport La Managua. You can reach one of the most visited beach of Costa Rica and the most beautiful of the country, Manuel Antonio Beach only by two minutes walk from the hotel. Manual Antonio has white-sand beaches, forested mountains, and abundant wildlife to explore. San Bada also owns a beautiful ranch that’s located some 1.5 hours from the hotel.  If you use car, you can reach the hotel within  2 and a half hours from the international airport. You will love the journey through the beautiful and colorful places by mountains, bridges that cross rivers full of crocodiles and highways that border the coast of the Costa Rican Pacific.

Accommodation:

Hotel San Bada offers comfortable and aesthetically pleasing accommodation. It’s main campus is stunning and from this campus you will enjoy both ocean and rainforest view. Each of the rooms have private furnished balconies with garden or ocean view and featured with number of facilities like air conditioner, LCD cable tv, WiFi connection, king or two full size beds, security box, mini bar,  night tables and resting chairs, iron with iron board with prior request, phone, closet, laundry service and concierge. There are some of the the Superior rooms, the Deluxe rooms and the Suites boast bathtubs where you can enjoy complete relaxation. There are a living room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen in the suites. Though all the rooms do not have ocean views but from the balconies you can enjoy the beautiful views of the fauna and wildlife of Manuel Antonio National Park.There are also handicap rooms on the first, second and third floor and in this hotel all the rooms are non smoking. There is a 400 sq. ft. swimming pool with slides, waterfalls and a wet bar and on the hotel’s rooftop there is another pool from where you can also enjoy the amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and the stunning sunset view.

Congo Restaurant:

In hotel San Bada there is a restaurant-Congo Restaurant that serves both international and traditional cuisine and all the dishes made with the local products and seafood. It serves the breakfast that is included in the room rate. Here you can enjoy a variety of meals and drinks in lunch and dinner time.

Perezoso Snack Bar:

This bar is located in the adult only pool area on the 6th floor of the hotel. This bar offers snacks, meals and drinks. From this bar you can also enjoy beautiful sunset view, and Manuel Antonio National Park view.

Sana Spa:

While staying at hotel San Bada, you can enjoy a unique selection of pure tropical botanicals in all signature spa services. All the ingredients used for the spa treatment are carefully sourced directly from Costa Rica and handcrafted. There are five different types of Spa rooms that includes: sauna, steam, couples room, single room, manicure and pericure room.

Hotel San Bada encourage its guests to be conscious and participate of the change by adopting sustainable practices to help to preserve the environment. Its mission is to provide  a positive exchange of experiences among residents and visitors. For the hot water it uses the residual energy of the air conditioner and the products used for cleaning are also eco friendly. All the amenities you will find in your room such as  so ap, shampoo and body lotions, all are biodegradable and eco friendly. For the laundry also the chemicals used are very biodegradable and environmental friendly. In the hotel there is a storage facility where the solid waste is separated for recycling, paper, cardboard, aluminum, glass and plastic. There are  two water treatment plants, through a system of tanks with filters that break down waste by bacteria, resulting in 99% filtered water.
